Dr. Maryet Nikkie Babrood built this practice around preventive, minimally invasive care — the kind where you are welcomed as a person rather than processed as an appointment. She listens first, explains the tradeoffs plainly, and builds a plan around what you actually want. Her patients are the reason the practice is named what it is.

Today that philosophy is carried by three doctors. Most holistic practices are solo and adult-focused. Most family practices still use mercury and fluoride. What Is Holistic Dentistry?

Holistic dentistry treats the mouth as part of the body rather than a separate system. It goes by several names — biological, natural, integrative, or biocompatible dentistry — and they all point at the same idea: what we put in your mouth stays in your body, so it had better be chosen carefully.

In practice, that means we work metal-free wherever the material choice is ours to make, and we are transparent where it is yours. Our fillings are mercury-free and tooth-colored. For implants, we place biocompatible zirconia ceramic — and titanium remains available as a lower-cost option for patients who want it. You get the tradeoffs explained plainly, then you choose.
