Why We’re Out-of-Network — By Choice

We chose not to contract with insurance companies so we could use the best materials, labs, and time for every patient — not whatever a plan will approve.

As a courtesy, we bill your PPO insurance directly on your behalf. However, dental insurance is a contract between you and your insurer — we have no part in it, and we never adjust our care based on what a plan will or won’t cover. Every patient receives the same world-class care regardless of insurance status.

You are ultimately responsible for payment of all treatment received. If your insurance company has not paid your claim within 90 days, the full balance becomes due and payable by you. We are transparent about this from the start — no surprises, no hidden fees.

We are unable to accept HMO or Denti-Cal programs. This allows us to use premium materials and partner with the best labs in the country, ensuring every restoration, every cleaning, and every smile meets the same high standard.

CareCredit — We have arranged interest-free financing plans through CareCredit for qualified patients. You can apply online at carecredit.com in minutes, and once approved, CareCredit can be used immediately toward your treatment. Our team can also help you apply in-office at your visit.

Major credit cards — We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Payment is due at the time of service for any balance not covered by insurance.

Do you accept my insurance?

We accept most major PPO insurance plans and will bill your insurance as a courtesy. We are out-of-network, meaning we don’t have a contracted rate with any insurer. Your out-of-network benefits will determine how much your plan reimburses. Not sure? Call us and we can help you figure it out before your appointment.

What does being out-of-network mean for me?

It means your insurer may cover a portion of your treatment based on your plan’s out-of-network benefit. We provide you with all the documentation you need — including an itemized receipt — to submit a claim if your plan requires it. Our team files directly on your behalf as a courtesy.

Do you accept HMO or Denti-Cal?

No. In order to maintain our quality standards — using the best materials, labs, and time per patient — we do not participate in HMO or Denti-Cal programs. This allows us to provide the same level of care to every patient, regardless of their plan.

What happens if insurance doesn't pay within 90 days?

If your insurance company has not paid your claim within 90 days of treatment, the full balance becomes due and payable by you. We are upfront about this policy from the start so there are never any surprises. We will notify you before the 90-day mark so you have time to follow up with your insurer.

What payment methods do you accept?
