Where to Find Ozone Treatment in Los Angeles

Rite Dentist · 12520 Magnolia Blvd, Suite 205, Valley Village, CA 91607 · Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM.

If you have been searching for ozone treatment near you, the reason it is hard to find is simple: ozone requires a dedicated generator, training, and a practice philosophy that favors preserving tooth structure over speed. Most general offices have not made that investment. We have, and Dr. Babrood performs the treatment herself.

We sit on Magnolia Blvd where Valley Village meets Studio City and North Hollywood, which puts us within a short drive of most of the east San Fernando Valley. There is a complimentary lot, plus street parking on Magnolia, so you are not circling the block before an appointment.

Not sure whether ozone applies to your situation? Call (818) 766-7776 and describe what is going on. We would rather tell you honestly over the phone than book you for something you do not need.

What an Ozone Visit Actually Looks Like

People are often surprised by how undramatic it is. Ozone is not a separate appointment or a production. In most cases it happens inside a visit you were already having.

We look first. Whether ozone is useful depends entirely on what we find. An early cavity, an inflamed pocket, a sensitive root surface, a site that needs disinfecting before a restoration. If none of that is present, we will say so.

Application takes minutes. Depending on the site, ozone is applied as a gas under a small seal, or as ozonated water flushed into the area. There is no needle, no numbing, and nothing to feel. Most patients say the strangest part is how little happens.

You leave normally. No recovery, no restrictions, no aftertaste. You can eat, drink, and go back to work immediately.

For the full picture of what ozone does and the conditions we use it for, see our ozone therapy page.

Cost and Booking

Ozone is usually billed separately from the procedure it accompanies, and the amount depends on what is being treated. You will hear the figure before anything happens, not on the way out.

Most dental plans have no billing code for ozone, so it is typically out of pocket even when the underlying treatment is covered. RitePlan membership is available if you do not carry insurance.

New patients can start with our comprehensive first visit, which includes exam, digital X-rays, and a cleaning. Call (818) 766-7776, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM.

Common questions

Before you book.
Do I need to be an existing patient to get ozone treatment?
No. New patients are welcome, and ozone is available as part of whatever treatment you come in for. Most new patients start with a comprehensive first visit that includes an exam, digital X-rays, and a cleaning, which also tells us whether ozone is relevant to your situation.
Can I book ozone treatment on its own?
Ozone is applied as part of treating something specific, so we need to look first and confirm it will actually help. Call (818) 766-7776 and describe what is going on, and we will tell you whether it is worth coming in.
How far in advance do I need to book?
Most patients are seen within about two weeks, and we hold same-day slots every weekday for emergencies. If you are in pain, call and say so.
Where exactly are you and is there parking?
We are at 12520 Magnolia Blvd, Suite 205, Valley Village, CA 91607, where Valley Village meets Studio City and North Hollywood. There is a complimentary lot plus street parking on Magnolia. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM.
Is dental ozone the same as the ozone therapy at a wellness clinic?
They share the same molecule but not the same application. What we do is dental and entirely local, applied directly to a tooth, a gum pocket, or a surgical site inside the mouth. It is not intravenous, not inhaled, and not a systemic wellness treatment.
Do you see patients from outside the Valley?
Regularly. Because so few practices offer ozone, patients travel to us from across Los Angeles. If you are coming from further out, call ahead and we will try to group your treatment so the trip is worth making.
